About me.

I have been making things from wire and beads for over 20 years. I discovered this medium, whilst doing a BA honours degree in Design Crafts, at Hereford college of Art and Design. My sculptures and decorations are made form wire and beads, and sometimes buttons and jewellery . I try and use recycled materials where possible. Every piece is made free-hand, without a mould or template, This means that no two pieces are exactly the same.

I am mainly inspired by the animal kingdom and make a large variety of animals and birds from around the world , including mythical beasts. There is no creature that cannot be made from wire and beads! Christmas is my busiest time of year and I make lots of Christmas decorations. I produce my work in a studio space at my home in Shropshire and attend craft markets to sell it.
